Annual New Years Day Ride

Our annual New Years Day Ride will take on a bit of a different format this year – well, not the ride itself (very easy 90 minutes max.) but the post-ride get together. Rather than be at a local bar / eatery, Mark Erickson and his wife Heidi will be hosting any hearty souls at their house (just west of S. Simms between Belleview and Bowles). See forwarded message below. Mark is a long-time friend and riding partner, racer (used to ride / race in France), and all-around good guy who makes me feel old trying to keep up with him.
The forecast for next Wednesday looks crummy for road riding, but a gathering of cycling folks will go on. He would like an RSVP (Mark at [email protected]) so if you will be out please let him know. Sheri and I will be there.

Happy Holidays!
I am hosting the 19th annual Colorado New Years Day Ride and Party!
The ride will start at 10:30 at my house. We will ride about 90 minutes VERY easy. This is all social with NO training benefit. After the ride (12:00) we will come back to my house and Heidi and I will be hosting the post ride party at our house. We will have an Italian theme lunch. PLEASE plan on staying for the party. Invite your plus one or two or three. Family is invited to join. Please let us know if you will be joining us for the ride or the party and if you think your family or friends will be joining for the party then please let us know, so we can have a tally.
If you come for the party please bring your favorite beverage or a side dish to share.
Looking forward to starting 2020 with a ride and a lot of fun.
