Part of being a COBRA is giving back to our community. We do this by our various charitable contributions to organizations such as BRAC, Bicycle Colorado, and the Cancer Fitness Institute in memory of Karen Hornbostel. In addition, COBRAS members have joined the thousands of volunteers who help keep Colorado beautiful by picking up litter along our highways. The area we clean is along a roadway used by cyclists on route 74 below Idledale.
This year we will meet a 9:00 AM on Saturday Saturday October 15th and work for about two hours. A picnic lunch will be provided. As the date comes closer, we will be asking for a list of volunteers who be take part in this fun and worthy effort.
